7 Reasons I Love Starbucks

That's right,CHEAP HAPPINESS.  Despite all the financial gurus going on and on about the exponential value of the money I spend at Starbucks, where can I find such a glow of contentment for $3.50. Just thinking about going to Starbucks makes me happy, inside! That is true value.

I want to get a bunch of friends together, quickly. My choices are a restaurant, a bar or STARBUCKS. Everyone has to agree on a restaurant. My husband and I do not drink. Invite everyone to meet at a mutually convenient Starbucks and we are all set for a quick gathering of friends or family.

I lived in a little town in Nebraska. For several years the closest Starbucks was in Lincoln, NE, 60 miles away. The little town had a coffee shop. I was excited about the coffee shop, but every time they hired a new barista, which they did often - I would have to train him/her. The new barista would burn my shots and I would have to explain how to make a latte. For this aggravation I paid $4.25. This NEVER happens at Starbucks. All baristas wll remake your drink with out any fanfare. They will usually give you a coupon for a free drink the next time around.

Starbucks always has clean restrooms with TOILET PAPER. This may only be important to me. I have the title of being able to locate the swankiest restrooms at any given time in any given location. I know that the Starbucks restrooms, even in Louisiana will be clean and neat and stocked.

If I am traveling, it is great to know that I can stop in for great coffee and hop on the web for FREE. It is also great if my internet crashes or I am staying with a friend or family and thier internet crashes.

I am always GREETED when I enter Starbucks. I know this is how the Starbucks employees are trained and it is part of thier job to greet me. It still makes me feel important and valued as a customer.

 There are times when I just want to get away from all the people in my life and read a book.  I can take my book to Starbucks, order a coffee and sit in a comfy chair, ALONE. There are very few places where you can sit alone and read.  It is perfectly acceptable to be alone at Starbucks.
